We offer Maintenance packages for every Need
Ultimate Pool Service:
Our all-inclusive package, designed just for you and your budget. We offer weekly, bi-weekly and even monthly maintenance plans for salt and chlorine systems. We check and adjust chemicals as needed, vacuum, scrub the walls and floor, check and clean the pump filter and skimmers, surface clean with the net. We also inspect salt systems and salt cells and clean or reconfigure if necessary.
Drain, Clean and Refill:
Typically necessary for green, poorly winterized or even abandoned pools. We drain the pool, clean it top to bottom, front to back and vacuum the remaining debris out. When it's squeaky clean again, we'll refill it. When its complete and clean again, this is a great opportunity to discuss chemical applications and maintenance planning for the future.
Our Pool Tips
Simple Maintenance Tips
-
Operate pumps adequately
Running the pool pump adequately can be the key to owning a low maintenance pool. This will ensure that there is enough water circulation for the chemicals to be effective. -
Maintain a proper pH level
7.2 - 7.6 pH is the best range for chlorine to be most active. At 8.2 chlorine is only about 10% active. Maintaining the proper pH level will allow the chlorine to reach its full potential. -
Keep Alkalinity between 80 and 140 ppm
Alkalinity levels that are too high or too low can affect water balance issues and make it difficult for the sanitizer to perform adequately. -
Check chemical Levels
It is necessary to check your pool's chemical levels twice per week in the summer and once per week if operating through the winter. Remember, keeping the chemical balance at their optimum levels will make maintaining your pool much easier and hassle free. -
Don't add chemicals during the daylight hours
Add pool chemicals after the sun has gone down and run the pump for several hours. This will ensure that they are mixed properly before the sunlight has a chance to absorb them. -
Only Backwash when needed
Backwashing your pool too frequently can shorten the life of the filter, only backwash when the pressure on the pump is 8 - 10psi higher than the normal operating pressure. -
Salt Systems, Check and Clean Salt Cells if needed
Over time the salt cells in the chlorine generator can become calcified or corroded, keeping them clean will help ensure that your chlorine generator is feeding proper amounts of chlorine to your pool.
